Smocking is a beautiful form of embroidery that involves making stitches with embroidery thread on fabric that has been gathered into tiny pleats. In this workshop, taught in 2-2 hour sessions, you will learn how to smock five basic stitches.
Fee includes a pleated strip of white batiste, 2 embroidery needles, 3 skeins of DMC embroidery floss, a design plate, an instructional booklet titled “Beginning Smocking” by Michie Mooney, and a little gift from the shop.
